Zeca Medeiros Live in Lajes do Pico: A Night of Azorean Music

The Pico Museum presents a special concert with renowned Azorean musician and composer Zeca Medeiros on October 25th at 9 PM, at the Whaling Museum in Lajes do Pico.
Known for his work as a musician, composer, actor, and director, Medeiros has left a lasting mark on Portuguese television and cinema with projects like Mau Tempo no Canal, Xailes Negros, and Gente Feliz com Lágrimas.
He returns to his musical roots with his latest album, A Dúvida Soberana (2021) — a poetic exploration of sea voyages featuring collaborations with Filipa Pais, João Afonso, and others.
In this live performance, Zeca Medeiros will be joined by Filipa Pais (voice), Jorge A. Silva (piano), Gil Alves (winds and percussion), and Rogério Cardoso Pires (guitar).
